Besides several grocery stores just nearby, you can reach the „Billa“ at Praterstern within some minutes (walk or 2 stations tram #5), which is one of the very few that are open even on Sundays (until 22:00)! A newly built grocery store („Spar“) opened on the other side of the street.

A newly opened bakery („DerMann“) is across the next intersection.

Next to our house is a serbian grillhouse and an arabic restaurant! Not even speaking from the 1st district, which is just a short tram ride.
Augarten park (approx. 1 min walk)
The beautiful Augarten park is just around the corner, and perfect for sports or slowing ones mind down after a busy day at work. Make sure you visit the „Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten“ once!

by public transportation and car
Tram #2 (station „Heinestrasse“ and „Am Tabor“; 1 min walk)
Tram line no. 2 brings you straight to the 1st district, and rides along the „Ring“. It can not get any better! An easy, and very fast way to reach almost every hotspot in the pulsating city center of Vienna!
Tram #5 (station „Am Tabor“; 1 min walk)
Tram line no. 5 brings you to the famous Prater within some minutes, or to the Westbahnhof for catching your next adventures’ train.
Subway U2 (station “Taborstrasse”; 6 min walk or 2min with tram #2)
Subway U1 and U4 (station „Schwedenplatz“; 5 min with tram #2)
With three subway stations nearby, you can reach every destination in Vienna within short time!

We are located very car friendly! You will reach the Autobahn A22 (via Brigittenauer Brücke) within 4 minutes only. There is little traffic in our area most of the time.

How To Get Here

If you arrive at the Vienna Airport:
City Airport Train
Take the CAT (City Airport Train) to „Wien Mitte“. From there, take subway U4 direction „Heiligenstadt“, exit at „Schwedenplatz“ (1 station). Exit the subway station, and you will find several tram lines. Take tram #2 (located next to the main street) direction „Friedrich-Engels-Platz“, exit after 5 stops at „Am Tabor“. From there, walk the Taborstrasse back for a minute. On the left hand side is your destination!
Airport Bus
Take the Airport Bus to Morzinplatz (Schwedenplatz). The ticket is around 8 EUR one way. From there, walk towards the subway station „Schwedenplatz“ for some minutes (along the main street). Take tram #2 (located next to the main street) direction „Friedrich-Engels-Platz“, exit after 5 stops at „Am Tabor“. From there, walk the Taborstrasse back for a minute. On the left hand side is your destination!
The fastest way to get here is by taxi.
Travel time: approx. 50-80 min
If you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof:
Take the subway U1 direction „Leopoldau“, and exit after 5 stations at „Praterstern“. From there, take tram #5 direction „Westbahnhof“, and exit after 2 stations at „Am Tabor“. At the intersection, go left (Taborstrasse). Walk the Taborstrasse for a minute. On the left hand side is your destination!
Travel time: approx. 20 min
If you arrive at Wien Westbahnhof:
Take tram #5 direction „Praterstern“, and exit at „Am Tabor“ (around 20 stations). At the intersection, go right (Taborstrasse). Walk the Taborstrasse direction city center for a minute. On the left hand side is your destination!
Travel time: approx. 30 min
If you arrive by car:
Just enter our address – Taborstrasse 74, 1020 Vienna – and you should find us easily with a navigation system. Please be aware, that public parking is fee-based between 09:00 and 22:00 from Monday until Friday (2 EUR / hour). See the > FAQ for more information.
